Zhejiang Provincial Department of Economics and Information Technology published the name list of new smart manufacturing of industrial cluster (region) in 2021, Yuhang Economic and Technological Development Zone “New Smart Manufacturing Pilot Project” becomes one of the 8 regional new smart manufacturing pilot projects of the province as the only selected pilot project of Hangzhou City.

It is reported that this is the first name list of new smart manufacturing pilot projects issued by Zhejiang Province, including 8 regional new smart manufacturing pilot projects and 28 new smart manufacturing pilot projects of industrial cluster. As one of the regional new smart manufacturing pilot projects, the success of the development zone in obtaining the “provincial pilot projects” cannot be achieved without its advanced manufacturing feature. The development zone is in the top 50 economic development zones, and is also the first demonstration base of smart manufacturing in the province and the first batch of “Top 10 Leaders in Per Acre Benefit of Modern Service Industry and National Development Zone of Zhejiang Province”. Under the direction of smart manufacturing, the development zone has cultivated 3 demonstration enterprises of “future factory” including ROBAM, CFMOTO, and Alibaba Xunxi, as well as a batch of leading enterprises in smart manufacturing such as Xio Lift, Tieliu Shareholding, Donghua Chain, and Hu Qing Yu Chinese Pharmacy.

In the future, the district will try to seize the new opportunity of digital reform in pilot work, tamp the development base of new smart manufacturing under the twin engines of “industry brain” and “future factory”, advance the deep integration of the new generation of information technology and manufacturing industry, and make our district the central region of smart manufacturing and demonstration area of “future factory” in the province.
